This site is a tribute to Elsie Wright. She is much loved and will always be remembered.
Elsie passed away on 19th November 2019 at Royal Preston Hospital Ward 20, aged 84 years.
Much loved mum to Glynn, Vicky and Andrea, mother-in-law to Katy, Roy and Jon, dearly loved Grandma to Jemma, Roy, Daniel, Andrew, Rachel, Sam and Abigail and Great Grandma to Chloe, Josh and Freddie.
She was always there for everyone who needed her, family and friends.

Thoughts
I first met Grandma Elsie in the autumn of 2015, and spent the Christmas season with her and family in 2018. I’ve only known her for a short while, but I felt from her that special kind of warmth and care that grandmothers reserve for their grandchildren. When you are with her, you are home, you are family, you are loved. Thank you Grandma Elsie, we will miss you.

Elsie was like an extra mum to our family, especially in the years we used to pick her up and travel to Fresh Manna church together. She always remembered our birthdays and was such a lovely and kind lady. We loved her very much and although it is really sad she is no longer with us - we rejoice in her glory, now with Jesus.
